The human brain’s processor frequency

Radiolab published a podcast on the gamma EEG wave, an electrical signal in the brain that may be like a sync signal similar to CPU clock. It is disturbed in neurological disease and may be a target for therapies like strobe lights to restore this coordinating signal:
